Super Stampin' Weekend 2009

SSW 1
March 20 - 22

Could you use a weekend away from the hustle and bustle of your daily life to catch up on your scrapbooking? How about uninterrupted time to work on your projects--no kids, no cooking? Then you won't want to miss this event

I want to remind you all about the Super Stampin' Weekend taking place March 20 - 22. This will be our 4th time traveling to King's Domain. We love the facility and always have a fantastic time.

The weekend would be an EXCELLENT idea for a gift from Santa! Tell your family that all you want for Christmas is a weekend away. I am offering a Payment Plan this year--read below for more information.

  • use of stamps, inks, punches, Big Shot, and other tools

  • lots of fun!

New Features this year:

Swapping: You have the option of joining a 2 page layout swap. You must RSVP for the swap by February 1. Your swap is due on the Saturday of the Weekend. Information can be found in the registration packet.

Payment Plan: We all know how hard it is to hand over a big chunk of change at one time. So, we are offering a payment option that allows you to break up your registration fee into 3 payments--due by the 1st of December, January, and February. Final payment is due February 1.
******The 1st of December is obviously upon us, so I am more than willing to work with you on a different payment schedule. Just call or email me and let me know what works for you!

Meals: Based on feedback, we are now including meals for the entire weekend. Yes, this means breakfast!

Make & Takes: Also, based on feedback, we have decreased the number of make & takes from 4 to 3 and designed them to take less time to complete! Two of the projects will be scrapbook layouts!

You will find the Registration form and more information to the right under "Special Download Forms."

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do I have to use only Stampin' Up! supplies? No---use whatever you like! While we obviously LOVE our SU stuff, you will find lots of various tools and supplies used by the other ladies. You will be able to use our ink pads, punches, and various stamp sets while you're there, though!

Can I invite friends to join me? Of course, as long as they send in their Registration form and payment by the due date.

What are the sleeping arrangements? Camp style (all in one large room) in single beds. Pillow and bedding provided. I recommend that you bring an extra blanket and pillow!

If I plan to arrive on Saturday, how early can I get there?
You can arrive starting at 9:00 am. If you are planning to just come on Saturday and not stay the night, you can arrive at 9:00 am and stay until midnight!

How much table space? You will share a table with one other person.

Will there be items for sale? We are not allowed to have Cash & Carry Sales of current merchandise. There will be retired stamp sets and products for sale--cash or check only!

What other things should I bring? Comfortable clothes, toiletry items, slippers, pajamas, snacks and drinks, easy breakfast items, your own scrapbooking/stamping supplies (cardstock embellishments, stamps, pictures, etc). While we will be providing ink pads and some stamps, you will want to bring specific colors and sets you know you will use. Bring a lot of adhesive and extra cutting blade refills!

The first 4 ladies to send in their registration form before January 30, will receive $5 in Stampin' Bucks (good towards my retired stamps and products during the weekend)!
